Birthday post!
I love banana bread. It's sweet, warm and moist. Plus, with cinnamon, it's the best decadent dessert. I really do love it, but I don't want to always have to cheat to eat it! I decided to take this problem into my own hands, literally. I lightened up a typical banana bread recipe by adding some apple for sweetness, replacing sugar with Truvia, and using whole wheat flour.

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. In one bowl, add the flour, Truvia, cinnamon, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, combine the melted butter (can microwave at 15 second intervals) and the egg. Then, combine both of those bowls together. Now comes the fun part. Mash the bananas and add it, along with the diced apple, to your mixture. Spray a loaf pan with coconut spray and place mixture until spread out evenly. I like to add some banana slices and cinnamon on top for some extra moisture and flavor. Now, just bake for about 50 minutes and you're ready to eat!
